DADDY - A RECOLLECTION-----------------------We can buy the gorgeous dressesof the late princess Diana.We can get the ruined articlesfrom the wrecked ship 'TITANIC'.Any many such things can be got;But love as such can't be;I searched for my daddy in the widelystretched Oceans and lonely deserts;I covered the hemispheres.But I yet never found him.Even the scientific InventionsLike 'INTERNET' didn't hear my cry.The plants peep out during spring;The birds flyout for the Sun's ray;The new born exists to see the World;The orphan cries out for love;But my heart longs only for my dad!No seas can quench my thirst;None of Wordsworth's colourful DaffodilsCan make me happy;Neither the worldly pleasures,Could make my Heart crazy!It is only my father's love that canever fill my heart.When I was in the hands of my dad,his worth was unknown to me;As Milton, who was of his poetic talent,Until he was deprived of his eyesight,My dad was snatched from my hands,like the fallen Angels, who had lost their paradise!I could find everything beside me;except my dad who left me bereft.The dull professor could be replaced,with an active one.Even the human organs are replaced.But my fathers's love cannot be replacedby any mortal or immortal being.Nature too is lenient towards us;By replacing Sunshine with Moonlight.I search for my dad in my dreams.And my soul is satisfiedWhen I recollect the bygone memoriesAnd still my search coninues........----------S.PRIYA.
